Advanced Technology in Water Flow Systems: The Proof is in the Pattern! TYPES OF WATER TANK SPRAYBARS REAR SPRAY BARS A rear of the tanker spraybar is included on all water distributors. Each spraybar has two (2) 4-way adjustable type flat fan spray head. Each spray head is individually cab controlled for on/off. As optional equipment rear spray systems can be ordered with three (3) rear spray head each individually cab controlled, or with four (4) rear spray heads each individually cab controlled for on/off. Each spray head produces a water flow of about 200 G.P.M. the number of spray head should be sized to the output of the water pump. SIDE JET SPRAYBAR (Optional) A side jet spraybar is a front tank top, two (2) sprayhead spraybar that produces a vertical water spray on each side of the distributor. Each sprayhead is individually cab controlled for on/off. FRONT BULKHEAD SPRAYBAR (Optional) A front bulkhead spraybar is a two (2) sprayhead spraybar located on the front tanker bulkhead that has two (2) 4-way adjustable type flat fan sprayhead. Each sprayhead is individually cab controlled for on/off. MIDSHIP SPRAYBAR (Optional) Midship spraybars are located at the front lower bulkhead of the water distributor with two (2) sprayheads, one on each side, each individually cab controlled for on/off. There are two types of midship spraybars 1st one with 4-way adjustable sprayhead producing a flat fan spray projecting out from each side, or 2nd one with street flushing nozzles projecting downward and to the side, used for cleaning road debris. FRONT OF BUMPER SPRAYBAR (Optional) Front bumper spraybars available in two types 1st with 4-way adjustable type, flat fan sprayhead(s), one (1) or two (2) sprayheads and 2nd with street flushing nozzles projecting downward and to the side, used for cleaning road debris, also available with one (1) or two (2) sprayheads. Each sprayhead is individually cab controlled for on/off. GRAVITY SPRAYBAR (Optional) Gravity spraybars are located at the rear of the water distributor, liquid is discharged from the tank via a cab operated full flow valve, into a full width horizontal spraybar. The horizontal spraybar is slotted at the bottom to create a water saturation pattern (wall of water). Gravity spraybars are available in 3 inch, 3" spraybar with a 4" valve inlet, 4 inch, 4" spraybar with a 6" valve inlet, or 6 inch 5" spraybar with a 6" valve inlet. Every gravity spraybar has cleanouts located at each end. PRESSURIZED HORIZONTAL SPRAYBAR (Optional) Pressurized horizontal spraybars are located at the rear of the water distributor or on the front tank bulkhead when used in conjunction with a mold board on a "Drop Tanker". A pressurized horizontal spraybar is similar to the gravity spraybar in design only they are supplied through pump pressure in stead of gravity. Pressurized horizontal spraybars are used to inject liquid into the soil for deeper than normal penetration. Available in 3 inch horizontal spraybar with 4" inlet valves or 4 inch horizontal spraybar with 4" inlet valves. Each spraybar is individually cab controlled for on/off. Each pressurized horizontal spraybar has cleanouts located at each end. GRAVITY DROP (Optional) Gravity drops are located at the rear tank head available in 6 inch with a 6" valve, or 10 inch with a 10" valve. The intention of a gravity drop is to discharge the contents of the water distributor in a few seconds. Gravity drops are available in cab controlled for on/off (optional) or manual controlled at the for on/off. |
