INTERIOR COATINGS
 | FLOATCOAT the
Klein Floatcoat is a highly effective, unique elastic rust preventive tank maintenance
coating. Floatcoat is a combination inorganic-complex, which forms a platelet crystalline
structure similar to "fish scale". The "fish scale" platelets are
polar in nature and dense, tight coating to provide an effective barrier to corrosion.
Floatcoat meets specification Mil-R-81006, and A.S.T.M. standards. No special surface
preparation or application equipment is required, Floatcoat can be sprayed or float
applied. 1 gallon of floatcoat to 2000 gallons of water. For further details see form
7073.

 | PLEXIBLACK the
Klein Plexiblack interior coating provides lasting protection against the rust and
corrosion when used in a submerged environment. Plexiblack is an asphalt quick dry
anti-oxidene protective coating, when sprayed applied, forms a solid protective barrier
against water penetration. This coating requires minimal surface preparation one gallon of
plexiblack covers approximately 200 square feet with one coat. For further details see
form 7066.

 | COLD APPLIED
GALVANIZING Cold applied galvanizing is an 87% pure zinc rich coating that provides
maximum corrosion resistance through cathodic protection. All cold applied galvanizing are
sacrificial coatings, making it sacrifice itself instead of the steel, to rust and
corrosion. Surface preparation must be SSPC-SP-6 commercial grade blast. Cold applied
galvanizing can be brush or sprayed applied with coverage of 175 to 400 square feet per
gallon and a recommended dry mill thickness of 2. For further details see from 7074.
|
 | COAL TAR EPOXY
Klein Coal Tar Epoxy is a two parts high solid amine converted epoxy and is a highly
effective protection against severe abrasion and strong chemicals in a submerged
environment (excluding potable). Coal Tar Epoxy dries to a smooth surface impervious to
penetration, and will rests cracking, chipping and peeling when applied properly. Surface
preparation must be SSPC-SP-10 near white blast. Coal Tar Epoxy is recommended to be
sprayed applied with coverage of 125 square feet per gallon and a recommended dry mill
thickness of 8. For further details see form 7075.
|
 | 9200 EPOXY
COATING The 9200 system epoxy coating is a two-compartment polyamide-converted coating
that delivers maximum protection against abrasion. 9200 epoxy is certified by NSF for
potable water use. Surface preparation must be SSPC-SP-10 near white blast. 9200 system
epoxy coating is recommended to be sprayed applied with coverage of 80 square feet per
gallon and a recommended dry mill thickness of 6. For further details see form 7076.
